After retirement Douglas decided to volunteer at the Napa Wildlife Rescue (NWR) in Napa, California. He had spare time and has always liked animals. Animals need our help; wildlife is disappearing world wide quickly and everything we can do to help our wild friends should be done. Douglas started out rehabbing song birds and then he asked about taking care of mammals. He met someone who took care of squirrels and decided to join the squirrel team. A few years later, he's the squirrel lead. Let's get him the incubator he needs to care for the most fragile babies.
