Emily learned about wildlife rehabilitation in her Scientific Research class and immediately began searching for a center to volunteer with. She found Raven Ridge Wildlife Center and, in her first year, now helps care for over 800 squirrels, cottontails, opossums, raccoons, skunks, skunks and flying squirrels. Emily's plan is to continue learning all she can and then, after graduation from York College of Pennsylvania, to open her own wildlife rehabilitation center. She has a huge passion for all animals and especially loves orphaned baby mammal care. So many fragile babies will benefit from this incubator and Emily's caring hands.
