I believe the life of an animal is no less precious than our own. I have always had compassion in caring for all animals, especially the injured and/or orphaned. My hope is to teach others the same understanding for our urban and rural wildlife.

This last year I have taken a big step, in learning the skills necessary for properly caring for our displaced wildlife. Focusing on the skilled care that will allow them to be returned to their natural habitat. I have been blessed with the opportunity to volunteer alongside Sherry and her team at Camp Wildernest in Chattanooga, TN. I have been and continue to learn invaluable rehabilitation skills for our native and migratory songbirds. I will also be working with other local wildlife rehabbers to learn new skills with various species.
