I first started caring for wildlife when a family member of mine rescued an orphaned raccoon, we were able to foster this little one and fell in love with being able to give back. As the human race continues to take over wildlife habitats having more rehabbers is becoming a crucial part of keeping these guys a part of our world. This year I’m beyond thrilled to have opened my own rescue (Palmetto Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation) we have been given such a warm welcome in our community’s and already have lots of critters in our care. Our goal is to have atleast one incubator per rehabber or paired up between two rehabbers in the area of each other for easy accessibility.
