Heather has always loved animals. It was always her dream to help animals that most people don't get the opportunity to help. She was first introduced to wildlife rehabilitation through a ferret rescuer who is also a wildlife rehabilitator. She gave Heather the opportunity to observe and learn about the animals that she works with. Over the last two years, Heather became more and more involved, and when the opportunity arose to become a licensed apprentice so that she could work with wildlife in her own home, she jumped at the chance. Four months later, she has been given the opportunity to work with a turtle, a vole, multiple bunnies, opossums, and a few squirrels. Having an incubator would allow Heather to help even more of these animals in a safer, more controlled environment.
