Helen's cats brought her injured songbird fledglings during the spring and she wanted to heal the birds and stop the cats. She has learned to do both. She has been rehabilitating in her home since 2006, but will be building a wildlife rehabilitation facility in the near future. The idea of having a facility where she can rehabilitate more wild animals and attract more volunteers excites her beyond words.
