How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
I rehab in my garage and often it’s very cold in early spring when we start getting baby squirrels. I have used heating pads but when they are neonates it’s just a worry. Plus now I do bats and this past summer we got in 15 that still had umbilical cords. The incubator was a huge help with them. I’ve used it now for squirrels, opossums, raccoons and bats. Couldn’t live without it!
How will this additional incubator help?
I often take the babies to work. I’m worried about how it affects them to be in an incubator at home to bring without one all day. I just think it would be healthier for them to have the same surroundings around the clock. Plus I live where our winters are harsh and mist of our spring rescues involve very cold babies.
