In 2015, one of Jamie's dogs found a baby squirrel that fell from his nest in their backyard. Jamie immediately took him in and cared for him. Those tiny little squirrel hands wrapped around her hand and her heart. He changed her life, and Jamie knew exactly what the Lord was calling her to do. She has lovingly rehabilitated and released 5 squirrels in her short time, and within the last year started rehabbing under a very experienced, wonderful permitted rehabber who has seen the passion and love in Jamie's heart, and has taken her under her wing. Now on the road to obtaining her own permit, Jamie currently has 3 beautiful baby girl squirrels she is rehabilitating. They, along with the many many more babies she will rehab, could greatly benefit from the warm, safe and healing environment of an incubator.
