I've always had a passion for working with animals, as a child when my family would come across a sick or Injured animal my family would allow me to care for them and nurse them back to health, in these child hood experiences caring for animals my love and desire to work with animals only grew stronger. When I graduated high school I started taking classes to become a vet tech but life had a new plan for me and that was being a mother and starting a family. While I wasn't able to finish my schooling my desire to work and be around animals continued and one day while working out in my yard I found a baby squirrel that got dropped by a hawk it was injured and too young to be on its own so I did what any caring person would do, rescue it and rehabilitate it. Luckily in my research for resources to do this properly my husband was introduced to a local wildlife rehabilitater who saw my passion for animals and desire to help. The rehaber became my mentor and threw her I was finally able to do what I've always wanted to do care for animals.
