Jay K.

Jay has been an avid observer of the natural world for his entire life and he has travelled throughout the Americas to see wildlife. He just sort of came into wildlife rehabbing when people were dropping off wildlife in need at the Nature Center. It became a valuable asset to their community and he has been caring for wildlife ever since. Jay says that it's a tremendous educational tool to teach people compassion and how to coexist better with animals. Wildlife rehabilitation and public education is not just his job, it's a major part of who he is. One of his newest roles is to pass his love of wildlife onto his 1 year old grandson.
