Jeanne K.
This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Baby Warm Extra model
When Jeanne's goddaughter found a newborn flying squirrel that needed help, they unsuccessfully tried to find a wildlife rehabber to take the baby. Now with firsthand knowledge of the shortage of licensed rehabbers in her area, Deanne decided to be a part of the solution. Within a year she became licensed for small mammals and eventually rabies vector species. Five years later, she now cares for raccoons, squirrels, cottontails and opossums - about 50 each year. When not caring for babies, Jeanne works for the Coventry School System where she's able to combine her love of education with her love of wildlife. She lectures on wildlife rehabilitation to vet tech and wildlife rehab students, educates children, mentors, and recruits as many future rehabbers as possible each year to help meet an endless need.
