I rehabbed squirrels in Ohio for years, and once we got settled in Florida I knew we had to give back to this state so I contacted Busch Gardens and they referred us to Owls Nest Sanctuary. I met the founder and started rehabbing squirrels, then Opossums, and now I am one of 3 who rehab raccoons. They are most definitely my spirit animal. And probably one of the most misunderstood animals out there. I love educating people on wildlife and especially raccoons. I had an old incubator someone loaned me but had to return it. Now that I am only rehabbing raccoon babies under 4 months, an incubator would be so helpful in keeping their body temps regulated.
