I have always fostered high need domestic animals but saw someone I knew, raising a baby raccoon. Knowing I was interested in doing this but also knowing it wasn't lawful without proper permitting, I began the long process of creating and building my own rehabilitation facility. It took several years to get the proper training and collect enough supplies to begin successfully rehabilitating orphaned and injured animals. It was worth every bit of effort!
