$499 of $499 raised
Jesse was first introduced to wildlife rehabilitation when he was looking for a facility to take in an injured squirrel he found. He had always loved working with animals in the past as a Humane Society volunteer and student vet tech, so he asked the wildlife center whether they accepted volunteers, which they did. Jesse applied and was accepted, and quickly fell in love with the responsibility of caring for and rehabilitating small mammal wildlife. He says that he's happiest when he's with animals, and was fortunate enough to get licensed as a small mammal wildlife rehabilitator this past summer. He's excited to start accepting intakes and help animals return to their natural habitat. An incubator will be a huge help.
