When Jessica was around the age of 16, a friend brought her a tiny baby raccoon that was found in the rain and orphaned. He was new born, so Jessica knew she had her work cut out. She nursed him back to health, which meant that he went everywhere with her since he had to be fed so often. Jessica enjoyed caring for such a tiny little life that depended solely on her to get him better. He eventually grew up and was released back into the wild. After that experience, friends and family would bring Jessica orphaned or injured baby squirrels that were found. Everyone knew that she loved animals so if there was ever an animal in need, family and friends knew they could call on her to help. Now an emergency room registered nurse, Jessica continues to devote her spare time to helping wildlife in need. Having a Baby Warm incubator will help her give the best possible care to the wildlife babies her organization receives each year.
