Jessica K.

Jessica began working in a wildlife rehabilitation setting after her sophomore year of college. She applied for an internship at the Wildlife Care Clinic and was awarded a position. Once her internship concluded, she was asked to join the WCC team as a staff member and wildlife rehabber. Jessica fell in love with wildlife the second she began working there, and now she can't imagine doing anything else. Working with wildlife brings so much joy to her life, and she wants to continue waking up everyday excited to make a difference in the lives of animals and the people that care about them. Jessica says that releasing wild animals that she has worked so hard to save is the most rewarding feeling in the world. Her dream is to be a wildlife veterinarian!
