Wildlife Rehabilitation came as a second career and passion for Jody. She has always loved animals, but previously worked in Early Childhood Education with Kindergarten and Pre-school children, and then started a family. As Jody's children got older, she became more and more curious about working with wildlife. She volunteered at a local wildlife clinic for years and gained valuable knowledge and experience. She is now a Level 2 Rehabilitator and has started her own non-profit specializing in wildlife found on Aquidneck Island, and is currently establishing a wildlife nursery. An incubator will help Jody save the most fragile babies.
