Joshua is a Sheriffs Deputy, and one day on patrol he saw something on the fog line of the highway. All it would have taken was for a vehicle to slightly go off the road in busy traffic to harm him. He turned on his lights, shut down the highway, and rescued an Eastern Screech Owl. Joshua turned over the owl to a wildlife rehab organization and has been been stuck with them ever since. He says that connecting with the wildlife and helping them is his way of separating from the stress of work. An incubator will be a huge help.
