I first got into wildlife rehab after applying for an internship at Gold Country Wildlife Rescue. I have always loved animals and I have grown to understand how important the well-being of our wildlife is for maintaining biodiversity and the survival of our planet. I was thrilled to be accepted to the internship in June of 2022, and even more thrilled to be offered a job as a wildlife technician in late August. I now get to work with wildlife on a daily basis, cleaning, feedings, and medicating. Spring is fast approaching and with it comes thousands of babies that need our help! Having incubators is crucial for the survival of baby animals, whether it be mammals or birds.
