It all started with an injured baby duckling that had developed septic arthritis and needed round the clock care if she was to have any hope of surviving. Kaitlyn learned as much as she could from classes, rehabber friends and researching at the library and online. She wanted to know every possible way to help the duckling not only survive, but thrive. That baby taught Kaitlyn that every earthling is so incredibly special and unique and each one deserves a chance at life. So, Kaitlyn began her wildlife rehabilitation journey. She became certified and extended her reach into the community to help any and all that needed a hand. She says that she loves what she does... no matter what the outcome, it is always worth every single second.
