Kala has loved animals since she was a child and has rescued/fostered many dogs, cats, horses, reptiles and birds over the years. She has always had an interest in wildlife and as soon as she was able to find help in becoming a legal rehabber, she jumped at the chance. Kala now cares for opossums, raccoons, skunks, bobcats, squirrels, fox, coyotes and pretty much any other animals who need a helping hand. She loves not only caring for her injured and orphaned patients but also passing on her passion for animals to her kids.
