$475 of $475 raised

Karen's neighbor found two baby squirrels and contacted animal lover Karen. With the babies in hand, Karen quickly realized that she had no idea how to care for the tiny critters. She contacted a local wildlife rehabber and decided to take steps to becoming a rehabber herself. She focused on squirrels for a few years and then met another rehabber who works with groundhogs. That rehabber taught Karen what she needed to know, and when the first baby "ghog" was placed in Karen hands, it was love at first sight. She started rehabbing opossums two years ago and fell hopelessly in love with them as well. It is extremely difficult to keep the proper heat and humidity levels for baby opossums which is why Karen finally decided to apply for a Baby Warm incubator. Next on her rehab wish list: baby skunks! Karen says that her husband is the most patient man on earth. He just shakes his head and lets her do her thing.
