Karolyn V.

Karolyn is French-Canadian from Quebec and grew up surrounded by beautiful forests and wildlife. When she moved to California about 12 years ago, she realized that there were so many animals in need but not enough wildlife rehabbers to help them so she jumped in to fill the void. She now cares for squirrels, opossums, raccoons, fox, coyotes, birds and reptiles - about 450 each year, most of them babies. In addition to her wildlife rehab work, Karolyn also assists officers who deal with animals, helps with animal cruelty cases against wildlife, and teaches children about urban wildlife. She loves doing all she can for the health, wellbeing and survival of all animals.
