A small squirrel came into my care one year very unexpectedly, and his life was sadly cut short. Because of this, I decided to dedicate my time helping as many squirrels as I can, but also help other small wildlife mammals that need help as well. This tiny squirrel taught me so much about how one single, tiny life can mean so much.
I am a veteran of the United States Air Force, now a stay at home mom with three children. Prior to volunteering with wildlife rehab, I spent 12 years in the military, deployed multiple times overseas, worked for the postal service afterwards, as well as worked for the VA for about 1.5 years. I really enjoyed my time in the Air Force and am thankful to have served. Now I can spend my time serving wildlife babies as well as adult wildlife, helping them get strong and healthy for release.
