Kay S.
This incubator campaign was for the Petiatric model
As a full time petsitter, Kay was always approached by people who needed help with injured or orphaned wildlife. Kay's first rehab species were bunnies but when she met her first opossums, she fell in love. With fewer rehabbers in her area to care for opossums, they've become most of Kay's focus although she also takes in other animals in need then passes them on to a rehabbers who specializes in that species - for a total of up to 450 animals each year. She's excited about the possibility of an incubator because baby opossums need to stay warm and moist, much like other orphans, and it's difficult to get the right environment for them to survive. Kay's dedicated to her opossums and will do whatever she can to help them have a better chance.
