Keith G.
Keith's interest in wildlife rehabilitation started when his dog led him to a tiny orphaned squirrel in his yard. Keith and his wife tried to reunite the baby with mom, but when reuniting didn't work, they cared for the baby until they could get him to a rehabber. Keith fell in love with the squirrel that they adorned with the name "flip flop" because of how squirmy he was. Since then, he has attended some conferences with his wife, and has even taken the rehabilitation exam, but his work for a non-profit organization makes his animal care purely supportive with feedings, husbandry, and handling. When Keith's hands aren't full of wildlife babies in need, he works at an art museum as the collections manager. He says that he is lucky to be able to pursue both his love for art and for nature!
