Kelsey C.
Kelsey's mother worked for a school district conservation area and exposed her daughter to all kinds of wildlife growing up. Kelsey has taken in numerous kittens and puppies, bottle fed, and then found homes for them. She worked for the humane society for several years while deciding whether to become a vet or teacher. She settled on teacher so now she needs to satisfy her need to continue to rescue and rehabilitate animals on the side. She now spend most of her summer and baby season feeding and cleaning up after wildlife, and even when she's teaching, she does all she can to teach the kids about respecting all animals, including wildlife. In their area, many of these awesome critters are considered a nuisance and Kelsey believes that teaching kids at a young age how to co-exist with these amazing creatures is so important. Let's help Kelsey keep wildlife babies warm and cozy so she can get them back where they belong once they are strong and ready.
