Kerstin has always been a "finder". She would find baby squirrels at a baseball game, injured hawks in her yard, baby rabbits in the middle of the path during a hiking trip, and always injured turtles. During Hurricane Matthew she found 4 baby squirrels that were in the middle of her road. She called Wildlife Rehab of Greenville to get them the care they needed and during the conversation she expressed her interest in rehabbing. To Kerstin's surprise they were having classes that weekend so she instantly joined the class. She says that it was meant to be, everything aligned perfectly. Her mission is to rescue, rehab and release orphaned and injured wildlife back into their natural habitat so they can live peacefully and healthy. And incubator will help Kerstin do just that.
