Kristi met the director of Nature Word rescue and she asked her if she would help raise orphaned squirrels because they had so many and not enough volunteers. Kristi says, "I found my love of animal working in a veterinary hospital but found my passion in helping wildlife. It has been so rewarding helping baby animals return to the wild. As an additional bonus rehabilitating wildlife helps me teach my children how to be better stewards to Mother Nature and fosters their love of wildlife too!"
