I have always had a love for animals, it seemed animals that needed help always found me before I found them. I have always wanted to work with wildlife, I struggle with anxiety and would often talk myself out of attending monthly meetings with our local volunteer wildlife organization. One day I mustered up the courage to attend one and I have not looked back. It has actually helped me with my anxiety. So much so that I was inspired by other local rehabbers to get my license. This is my first year with animals and I can see how another incubator would be a wonderful addition to my rehab space. If you are questioning whether or not to join your local organization just do it. It will be so rewarding and inspire you to do something you have always dreamed of doing!
