It is never too late to try something new!! Loving animals has always been a passion of mine. Moving to NC several years ago I became aware of the wonderful work done by Carolina Waterfowl Rescue. I wanted to be a part of that. First working as a volunteer and then as a staff member, I can say the work I do each day makes a difference. Running the baby songbird program is so rewarding. We save and rehabilitate those animals often overlooked by other rescues, from injured domestic and wild animals to owner surrender and cruelty cases brought to us from law enforcement in NC and SC. We do make a difference in the lives of so many animals.
