Leslie has three children who frequently brought home injured and orphaned animals in need of help. It didn't take long before word got out and Leslie's kids' friends were bringing her animals to save as well. It mushroomed from there and Leslie now cares for opossums, squirrels songbirds, hawks, owls and water birds. She also has a federal permit for educational raptors and does all she can to share her passion for wildlife with the next generation.
