Libby P.
Libby was in a car accident in 2010 that caused her to have a chronic, life-long pain condition that changed her entire life course. As she was recovering, unable to attend normal schooling or continue her favorite hobbies, she began volunteering at the local wildlife center and immediately fell in love with wildlife and rehab. Fast forward to 9 years later, she has volunteered at multiple centers, rehabbed wildlife at home, worked as a Medical Clinic Apprentice and later Wildlife Specialist at the same wildlife center she began in, volunteered as medical director for another wildlife center, and has decided to settle as a home rehabilitator while she pursues a further degree in veterinary nursing. Libby says that her wildlife patients are the light that keeps her moving through her own physical ailments.
