Linda A.

Since childhood, Linda has been passionate about animals and inspired to better their lives in any way she can. She has always been drawn to wildlife in particular; their combination of strength and vulnerability speaks to her, and she is as moved by the tiniest baby squirrel as she is by the most magnificent bird of prey. Linda's house of 20+ years abuts woodland that is home to wild creatures of all types. As long as Linda has lived there, she has been committed to learning about her wild neighbors so that she may serve as a compassionate steward and advocate for them. Upon retiring from her professional career, she took inventory of what matters most to her and how she wants to spend the rest of her life. It did not take long to realize that her true calling is helping wildlife in need. Linda says that it is humbling, motivating, and absolutely awe-inspiring to call wildlife rehabilitation her vocation.
