Linda M.

$475 of $475 raised

Linda began rehabbing as a teenager in SW Florida because she loves wild animals and wanted to help them. The Conservancy of SW Florida was accepting volunteers as young as thirteen so she went to sign-up the day after my 13th birthday. Now an empty-nester, Linda is ready to rehab in her home while receiving help and support from a local wildlife hospital and a wildlife sanctuary. There are no local rehabilitators who provide care exclusively for cottontails, so this incubator is critically needed as the species is notoriously difficult to effectively treat in facilities where they are cared for by multiple individuals. An incubator will allow Linda to care for baby bunnies that are too young to thermoregulate on their own -- the eyes-closed, tiny babies that are the most commonly received.
