Lisa G.
Lisa has an innate love and understanding of animals and has been gifted with a talent to calm, care and nurture them. She cares for injured and orphaned squirrels, opossums and raccoons. Her goal is, when ready and appropriate, to release each rescue in a supportive environment where they can safely thrive and live out their life. As a school principal, Lisa is fortunate to have the opportunity help children develop a love and respect for wildlife and animals of all kinds. They work together to learn about their environments, challenges, and ways to support them as we share the earth together. Her school has an outdoor classroom where students learn about the ecosystem, plants, and all types of wildlife. Students are encouraged to get involved, learn how to actively advocate for wildlife and protect their environments in the next generations. Lisa's personal interest in the care and well being of wildlife has been contagious to her students. Parents, students and other educators in our community are supportive and interested in helping in any way they can. Let's get her the incubator she needs to give wildlife babies the best care possible.
