Jeanne Kraemer, of CT Wildlife, started me on this crazy road and I have never looked back! She and Debbie Corcione, another Wildlife Rehabilitator, mentored me in small animals and fawns. I eventually added waterfowl and got my US Fish & Wildlife permit for them, after having gotten approval for my fawn rehabilitation. My "dog shelter" changed into a "Wildlife Rehabilitation Center" in 2020 and I have loved every day of my journey in both farm animal rescue and wildlife rehabilitation. My life has always revolved around animals and to be able to do both domestic animal rescue and wildlife rehabilitation has been an amazing experience. I've learned so very much in raising these orphans and I am dedicated to continuing my mission.
