Lori A.

Lori has always loved helping animals and, as a child, she wanted to become a veterinarian. Years later, her boyfriend picked up a fawn that laid down in the middle of a highway and almost got hit by a car. It was very weak and dehydrated but Lori managed to nurse her back to health. At the time, she wasn't aware of wildlife rehabbers, and that her good deed was illegal, until a game warden came to her house. He introduced Lori to a local wildlife rehabber who helped the fawn while also helping Lori become a rehabber legally. It has been a dream come true. Now she gets to help so many baby animals in need, and watch them grow and return back to the wild.
