I became a rehabber bc I had a love for animals as a small child. Where I lived people would drop off animals under a bridge by our house and I would crawl under the bridge and get them and fix whatever was wrong and find new homes for them. As I grew older I realized there's a huge need for wildlife rehabbers and not many people are willing to do it so I just jumped in one day after tons of research and started doing it on my own.
