Lori worked for an educational program that worked with native and exotic species. She learned a great deal about native species and decided that she wanted to do more than just educate the public. She wanted to also help the injured animals with the hope of being able to release them back into the world we share. It became a deep passion for her and at the age of 53, she began the process. Lori says that she has been blessed to assist many animals with the rehab process, and she has been able to release them back to the world they know. It brings her great joy to help them for a short time.
