Lucie has always loved all animals and has been focused on helping them since she was a little girl. San Diego has such a rich biodiversity of native wildlife and she knew there was a great need to help injured, sick or orphaned wildlife. When the opportunity came for Lucie to join the team at the SDWC, she didn't hesitate. Bridging the gap between our love for for domestic animals, wild animals and farmed animals has always been a goal of hers. Lucie says that every being deserves a chance to live its life. She strives to make this world a kinder, more compassionate place.
