This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Series II Baby Warm model
My first experience with wildlife rehabilitation was during college, volunteering at a small wildlife rehabilitation center run at my university, and it started me down the path you find me on today. After college I moved to Colorado and spent a few years learning the flora and fauna before I got involved with RMWA through my Wildlife Medicine Internship in April of 2023. Afterwards, I stayed on as a Wildlife Care Specialist, and now one as RMWA’s Provisional Wildlife Rehabilitators under our Director.
Incubators like this one have the potential to make a huge impact on our small wildlife hospital. They can house anything from as small as baby squirrels and cottontails, to as large as adult foxes and bobcats. Witnessing injured, orphaned, and diseased wildlife, many of which come into our facility from human-caused reasons can be hard. However, it is the reason I think wildlife rehabilitation is so important, it feels like a way to take responsibility for our actions at the human-wildlife interface.
