I first got into rehabbing wildlife back in 2017 when I saw a post on Facebook from a wildlife rehab organization needing transport ASAP for a fawn that was being held at a local vet clinic. I was told the clinic would euthanize the fawn if she wasn't picked up by the end of the day and since I lived nearby, I decided to help. From that day on, I began helping that organization transport more until I moved into my first home. Once I settled in and dedicated a room to wildlife, I began learning how to rehab baby squirrels then eventually specializing in cottontail bunnies - my favorite!
