Marcia P.

Animals have always been close to Marcia's heart. She volunteered with numerous animal rescue groups and fostered orphaned kittens and puppies, but it was her time volunteering at the local humane society that would be life changing. She met a wildlife rehabber, an experience that inspired Marcia to leave her social work career to follow her heart and dream to work with animals. She began the extensive training course and is now a subpermittee rehabber with Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation, Inc., caring for squirrels, opossums and raccoons, in addition to her studies as a vet tech student. Marcia says that she has found that her purpose in life is to care for wildlife. She has always felt like a misfit, however, when she walks into her rehab nursery and cares for those precious little angels, she finally belongs, and her heart and soul is full. An incubator is a much needed tool to help her continue to provide the best care for the babies.
