How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
The incubator supplied by Baby Warm and generous donors helped dozens of animals this year. Ground squirrels with back injuries, whole nests of baby birds, and adult birds with severe injuries. It even housed a turtle after his shell repair. There is no substitution for the stable healing environment of an incubator. It also makes monitoring conditions much less rigorous, so that I can focus more on animal care, improving the outcomes for the animals entering rehabilitation.

How will this additional incubator help?
The addition of a mobile incubator to my rehab program with mean that animals being transported can receive immediate measures to help stabalize them. I use a mobile nebulizer and 02 unit, however oxygen is very cold and the use of an incubator in route will be a huge comfort to the animal I rehabilitate. It will minimize their stress and increase their chances for survival.
