Marianne H.

Marianne has always loved all animals but knew that if she volunteered to help domestic animals she would have a hard time giving them up, which of course would defeat the purpose of helping. She loves wildlife but knows they belong in the wild and loves the wonderful feeling of being able to release them back to nature. Marianne now cares for birds, woodchucks, squirrels, cottontails, opossums, chipmunks, birds of prey, ducklings and more. In her nearly two decades of helping wildlife, she has learned so much about animals as well as people, and it has given her hope that there actually is still good left in the world.
