Mary W.

Mary worked in the nursery at the Houston Zoo in the early 1980s. They took care of babies born in the zoo but also took in orphaned animals from the public. Mary's favorites were always squirrels. She continued to rehabilitate squirrels after she left the zoo. She has started rehabbing more species now, including wading birds and birds of prey but squirrels will always have a special place in her heart.
