Meredith always wanted to do wildlife rehabbing and when she moved to a rural area, her first opportunity arrived in the form of an injured opossum. She took the little guy to Evelyn's Wildlife Refuge, saw the incredible passion Evelyn has for wildlife, and Meredith knew it was time. Under Evelyn's guidance and sponsorship, she got her license and now helps rabbits, squirrels, opossums, raccoons, fox, skunks, groundhogs and reptiles. When Meredith's not helping the wild critters, she also volunteers with a domestic/feral cat rescue.
