Meriann S.

From childhood to present, Meriann has always loved animals. She saw a local group offering a class on basic wildlife rehabilitation, took the class and loved it. She was rather quickly drawn to specializing in raptors and worked with a mentor for a little over a year before testing to get her own license. She loves that they are always finding new ways to treat injuries and illnesses. Meriann says, "It is not just about learning to do something and you are done but constantly researching and networking with others to give the best care possible at that moment."
