I have always loved animals since I was a little girl. When I was little I asked, "who cares for wild animals that need help?" There were not many who could answer that question. As I got older, I learned about people who cared for wild animals in need. While in school for a veterinary technician, I was introduced to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of MN and the University of MN Raptor Center. It was on those tours, I knew that my future was being shown to me. My very first job was a wildlife veterinary technician. I have always been passionate about teaching others on the importance to help these animals in need. Throughout my career as a certified veterinary technician I made sure I worked at places that took in injured wildlife.
